Closing Show at the Fira de Girona
Criteo – Closing show with urban Brass Band at Fira de Girona
In collaboration with the Parisian agency Cocotte, Eventos Barcelona was selected to produce the closing show of the international congress of Criteo, one of the global leaders in advertising technology. The event took place at the impressive Fira de Girona, bringing together more than 3,000 international attendees.
The assignment was clear and ambitious: to reinterpret a corporate hymn in an urban version , powerful and with character, capable of connecting emotionally with the audience after two intense days of congress. Far from opting for a conventional solution, we opted for the creation of an exclusive show, designed from scratch to surprise and excite.
For this, we formed a large-scale traveling Brass Band, with 18 wind musicians and 2 hip hop vocalists, fusing the energy of street funk with a contemporary and corporate approach. The staging included original musical arrangements, coordinated costumes, and dynamic choreography that transformed the main entrance of the venue into a high-impact musical parade.
The result was a vibrant and memorable end to the event, which not only reflected the brand’s values, but also left an emotional mark on the attendees. Spontaneous applause, cell phone recordings and a festive atmosphere were the best sign that the experience had exceeded all expectations.
Eventos Barcelona combines creativity, artistic direction and technical production to design tailor-made experiences that raise the level of any corporate event. From opening shows, sensory ambiances and thematic performances, to large format musical shows like this one.

Frequently asked questions about this case
What is an urban brass band and why does it work as a closing show?
An acoustic brass band (trumpets, trombones, tuba, percussion) in New Orleans style that can move through the space without amplified sound. Works brutally as closing show because it generates direct participation: audience stands up, follows the band, and event closes with maximum energy.
What kind of event works well with a brass band?
Corporate conventions with international audience (instrumental music transcends languages), festive events, company anniversaries, convention closings where you want to "unstick" audience from conference format and transition to festive energy.
Can a brass band play without amplified sound?
Yes — one of its advantages. In medium spaces (up to 300-400 people indoor or 500-800 outdoor) they sound perfectly without reinforcement. For larger audiences you can add ambient mics.
How long does a typical brass band show last?
Between 30 and 60 minutes with natural stops every 8-12 minutes for theme changes. Enough to close a convention with energy without exhausting the audience.
