Spectacular production for Tecselect gala dinner at MNAC

Organization and production of the gala dinner for the company Tecselect at the MNAC, designed to amaze.

The renowned Tecselect company is part of DEHA Elektrohandelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, a grouping of five leading independent electrical wholesalers in the German market.

As is tradition, every year it holds a spectacular gala dinner in a different European city with the aim of making corporate presentations at the highest level and presenting various awards. Eventos Barcelona collaborated with the AMT agency to organize and produce this international event in such an emblematic location as the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) in Barcelona.

The goal was to coordinate all the technical, audiovisual and artistic aspects to make this gala dinner with more than 1000 guests a success. To achieve this challenge we proposed a production that highlighted the elegance and prestige of both the company Tecselect and the space. For this we had an artistic selection and a first class technical execution. So that attendees could follow the presentations and the awards ceremony, we designed an audiovisual production with live production on a 12-meter screen and broadcast all the content of the gala, so that each guest could enjoy an immersive and participatory experience, regardless of their location in the room. Also, to highlight the majesty of the MNAC, the lighting design had to be spectacular, so we installed more than 50 moving heads and 45 LED batteries.

An impeccable technical production and an exclusive artistic production.

The gala dinner was held in the spectacular Oval Room of the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), a majestic space that offered many possibilities for the shows. During the reception, two classical guitarists entertained the 1000 attendees. Then we presented our own production show, the Flamenco Mapping Show, a flamenco show with audiovisual projections synchronized with the 3 dancers that amazed everyone present. A unique WOW show in Barcelona. The gala was hosted by the renowned German presenter Claudia Kleinert, who created a dynamic atmosphere throughout the show. One of the highlights was the surprise appearance of the famous German comedian Andreas Muller, who contributed to the festive and lively atmosphere with his monologues. At the end of the event, four football freestylers burst onto the stage, adding a touch of energy and fun as a farewell to a memorable evening.

Can you organise a gala dinner at MNAC?

Yes. MNAC (Palau Nacional) allows private corporate events at the Oval Hall and adjacent spaces. Capacity up to 1,000 seated guests in gala dinner format. We coordinate with the museum management, respect heritage regulations and execute the full production with zero contact with the artworks.

How much does it cost to produce a gala at MNAC?

Venue rental is separate and depends on the client's agreement with MNAC. Our part (artistic + technical production + coordination) usually ranges between €40,000 and €120,000 depending on show format, catering scale and technical production. Reference figures — we close budget after specific brief.

How far in advance should we book MNAC?

Minimum 6-9 months. MNAC is one of the most requested venues by global brands — in peak season (May, June, September, October) available slots are very limited and require adding 2-3 months to the minimum.

What kind of show works best at MNAC?

Shows that respect the heritage tone: string quartets, chamber orchestras, contemporary dance, choirs and architectural mapping on the Oval Hall dome. NOT recommended: pyrotechnics, visible outdoor laser, aerial with ceiling anchoring.

Does EB rent MNAC or must we do it separately?

MNAC rental is managed directly by the client with the museum. We produce the event inside the venue. We can accompany coordination with the museum technical direction if helpful for the client.
