Corporate gala dinners in Barcelona

What we do for your gala dinner

A premium corporate gala dinner is not just about hiring a band for dessert. It is a production that combines artistic concept, catering coordination, technical production of sound and lighting, and flawless execution during the critical four hours of the event. It is a coordination exercise between dozens of suppliers, executed with Swiss-watch precision in front of your clients or executive team.

That is exactly where Eventos Barcelona comes in.

Artistic concept design

Before hiring the first performer, we design with you the narrative thread of the gala. What story do we want to tell during the dinner? How does it connect to the reason for the event — a launch, an anniversary, a convention? What sensation should the attendees take away when they leave the venue? The concept defines which artists to hire, when they enter during the menu, and what technical production is needed.

Show selection and coordination

With the concept defined, we select the shows that bring it to life. We work with an internal catalogue of more than 400 verified artists and shows in Barcelona and Spain: violinists and string quartets for the reception, jazz trios for the cocktail, aerial dance or LED dancers for the wow moment, DJs and live bands for the after-dinner. We coordinate availability, contracts, sound checks and set-ups.

Technical production: sound, lighting, video, staging

At many galas, technical production is fragmented across suppliers who do not talk to each other. That is a risk. We integrate the technical side into the same team that produces the artistic side: line-array sound scaled to the audience, architectural lighting of the venue, spotlights and follow-spots for the shows, LED screens when the format requires them, and modular staging and structures. One single point of contact, one invoice, zero friction.

Coordination with venue, catering and client team

A gala involves 20-30 people working simultaneously: kitchen, floor service, AV technicians, artists, security, protocol. Our team integrates with the venue and the catering from day one so that the timings of the menu and the timings of the show mesh perfectly. No surprises.

Types of shows we produce for gala dinners

Each gala calls for a different mix of shows. These are the formats we are asked for most and that work best according to the moment of the event.

Artistic shows for the main moment

Contemporary dance, aerial circus, classical music, contortion, cabaret. The main block typically goes between the second course and dessert, when the room energy is at its peak. Typical duration: 8-15 minutes. Comfortable capacity: 100-1,000 guests.

Entertainment during the dinner

Violinists, string quartets, jazz trios, bossa nova duos, classical harpists. All the live music at low volume that accompanies the conversation during the welcome cocktail and the first courses, without interfering with the interaction between guests.

WOW effect shows

LED Dancers, laser show, aerial silks and hoops, fire juggling, synchronised drones, architectural mapping on the venue. Moments designed to trigger reactions, generate social media content and become the lasting memory of the event.

Custom-themed shows

When the gala has a specific concept (brand anniversary, tribute to a market, product launch) we design ad hoc shows with choreography, wardrobe and original music. It requires 6-12 weeks of production but guarantees a unique experience.

Favourite Barcelona venues for gala dinners

We do not rent venues. We coordinate with the team that manages them. These are the spaces where we have recently produced gala dinners and know inside out.

Historic venues and museums

Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), Museu Marítim, Poble Espanyol, Llotja de Mar, Palau de Pedralbes. Heritage spaces with unique architectural character, ideal for premium concept gala dinners. Capacities between 200 and 1,500 guests.

Hotels with large-format ballrooms

The main Barcelona hotels (Fira, Hesperia, Ritz-Carlton, W, Sofía, Princesa Sofía) have adaptable ballrooms between 200 and 2,000 guests. We regularly work with their events teams.

Unique spaces

Rooftops with sea views, terraces with the Barcelona skyline, Modernist palaces, restored industrial factories, and spaces recently opened in the 22@ district. When the project calls for a different venue, we search and coordinate.

We work with your team or directly with your DMC

A significant share of our clients are international companies operating through a local DMC (Destination Management Company) that handles the full logistics of the corporate trip. Others hire us directly when they already have the venue, hotel and transport sorted and only need to produce the event itself.

Direct collaboration with the client company

If your team already has the venue booked and the logistics resolved, we come in as production partner of the event itself. Direct interlocution with your internal marketing, events or communications team.

Collaboration as a partner of an international DMC

If you are working with a DMC in Barcelona (Ovation, bnetwork, Factor3, Cititravel or others), we are the artistic and technical production partner that integrates into their team. We work multilingual (Spanish, English, Catalan) and with the agility that international MICE projects require.

Frequently asked questions about corporate gala dinners

Does EB only handle entertainment or also technical production?

Both. Our core is artistic production (concept + shows + artist coordination), but we also integrate technical production when the project requires it: sound, architectural lighting of the venue, stage spotlights, LED screens, staging and structures. One team, one point of contact.

For how many guests do you produce gala dinners?

From 80 guests in intimate premium formats to more than 1,000 in large-format events like the one we produced at the MNAC. Each size requires a different production and coordination logic.

Does EB search for the venue or does it need to be already secured?

We can advise on venue if you have not decided yet, leveraging our knowledge of Barcelona spaces. But we are not a DMC and we do not manage hotels or transport: our core is the production of the event itself. If you are looking for a full-service DMC that also covers accommodation and transfers, we work as the partner of the DMC leading that piece.

What is the ideal timing to start a gala dinner project?

Ideally between 12 and 20 weeks before the event. That margin allows us to book the best performers (top acts in our catalogue get booked months in advance), design a solid concept and coordinate well with the venue and the catering. In urgent cases we have produced galas with 4-6 weeks lead time, but that limits the creative options.

Do you work with DMCs and agencies, or only with the final client?

Both. We regularly work as artistic and technical production partner for international DMCs operating in Barcelona, and we also serve companies directly that manage their event without an intermediary. Each model has its own specific interlocution.

In which languages does the team work?

Spanish, English and Catalan as working languages. All interlocution with international clients can be handled entirely in English, from commercial proposal to briefing with suppliers and on-site execution during the event.
