The prestigious Indian company Century Ply is one of the pioneers in the production of boiling water resistant plywood and decorative laminates. It has been exporting its products to more than twenty countries since 1986 and has earned a privileged position in the competitive lifestyle market segment. As is tradition, every year it organizes its spectacular gala dinner and awards ceremony in a different city. At Eventos Barcelona we were in charge of the artistic and technical production during their visit to Barcelona so that the experience would be an unprecedented success.
The goal was to organize a high quality artistic and technical production that would keep the interest and excitement of the more than 300 international guests throughout the event. At the same time, it was necessary to personalize every detail, even the smallest ones, to correctly reflect the corporate identity and prestige of a company with Century Ply’s track record. There was no room for mistakes or improvisation. From the welcome show to the entertainment during the gala dinner, every moment had to be carefully designed to impress and entertain the guests.
The gala dinner had to be memorable from the moment the doors opened and the guests entered the huge photocall. For this reason we organized a reception with human statues, caricaturists and surreal stilt walkers that provide a very special start to the evening. During the cocktail reception and gala dinner, the event was completely transformed with a dance show featuring flamenco dancers, a Bollywood dance troupe and a group of LED dancers, which brought a touch of glamour and energy to the evening. As a final touch, we put on an acroballance show with fluorescent costumes that left the audience thrilled thanks to its spectacular nature.
Eventos Barcelona took care of the technical production of the event, from the stage design to the sound, lighting and live audiovisual production of the gala and the Century Ply awards ceremony. Thanks to our experience, dedication and teamwork we create a unique and memorable atmosphere for the client and all the guests.
